Clarins wants you to believe their deceptive advertising. The omission of relevant harmful ingredients on their website is intentional so that the unsuspecting buying consumer is "conned" by their claims of "natural and botanically" based cosmetics. It is not unusual for companies who are part of the European Union to have a different formula for their market in the United States. One has to wonder is this the case with Clarins? European Union labeling requires that certain known "problematic" chemicals (sensitizers, allergens) be referenced on the packaging. Which until recently were not incorporated on the outer packaging sold in the United States. Even Angel users have given up this toxic soup as it is bothering or causing health related issues to others. The skin care line sold on their internet website is riddled with "selective disclosure" as to the ingredients in the finished products. A true and full representation of their ingredients for both their fragrances and skin care products can be located at the Environmental Working Groups Skin Deep Cosmetics Safety Database. Clarins was reprimanded in the United Kingdom for the false claims on their Expertise 3P product. The United States Food and Drug Administration has been notified of these "outrageous" claims and has been requested to have Clarins provide proof of these "effects" that they advertise. Clarins is not unique with their deceptive sales practices, they are more aggressive in the promotion of "natural and botanically" based. Cancer causing Chemical in Angel Perfume?
